You don’t always need to buy the most expensive equipment to take neat and interesting images.  Here is my $15 light.  $3.89 light bulb, $4.99 pull chain lamp socket, and $5.98 replacement cord…   $14.86 Plus tax….  One hanging light bulb!

Here is some video from the shoot… www.anatomyofcool.com/bulb.mp4

How would you like this….

Poor Bo and Cindy called me today in a panic… This was what their website looked like this morning.  It only took me about 10min to get them back up and going but what a way to start their day!  Moral to this story… Never give Scott your passwords… Umm I mean make your passwords harder to crack like adding small letters, and capitals along with numbers, and make them longer.  Hackers suck FYI and Bo and Cindy actually got off lucky that all they did was swap one file on their server.   CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS and MAKE THEM more SecurE2day.

Oh when the saints…

Oh when the Saints..Oh when the Saints..Oh when the Saints rain on my parade!! Well congrats to the NO Saints! They were fun to watch and man are their fans having fun! Their fans put the Fu back into fun! :)

ok back to stuff that really matters! While doing my treadmill time thismorning I really got to thinking about some critical success factors for photographers. #1. Spend less than you earn. What? Seriously stop using credit cards. How much of the stress in your life is related to or a result of money? And by money I mean (not having any). You are on a fixed income so pretend like your credit cards are your dogs testicals and take them to the vet to get fixed (nuetered) that was funnier in my head :)

Are you on a fixed income? Most photographers income is fixed only by the way their mind limits them to. Can you create one new revenue stream every week for two months? Limited editions, dog days, actor/business professional head shots, etc. Crap I just gave you 3 of your 8 right there… Promote it on your blog-website-facebook! All three and then make one outside contact to help promote it. It’s a easy as that and your fixed income will go up!
